Abstract
Sjevernojadranske teretne morske luke Rijeka, Trst i Kopar zaostaju za visoko razvijenim lukama Sjeverne Europe, koje funkcioniraju kao optimalizirani logistički centri učinkovite logističke mreže u kojoj se ti logistički centri nalaze. Iz tog se razloga cijeli logističkoprometni pravac koji se oslanja na poslovanje sjevernojadranskih luka izlaže riziku opadanja prometa i shodno tome tržišnom marginaliziranju. Da bi se na odgovarajući način došlo do odgovora na pitanje kako podignuti konkurentsku razinu sjevernojadranskog logističkolučkog prostora, u doktorskoj disertaciji se je na koncizan i temeljit način pristupilo determiniranju problema i pronalaženju modela koji će definirati postavke novog sjevernojadranskog logističkolučkog sustava. Analiza općih lučkih i logističkih elemenata je bila preduvjet za sustavnu analizu poslovanja i stupnja razvijenosti sjevernojadranskih teretnih morskih luka, njihovog položaja u srednjoeuropskoj logističkoj mreži, kao i za analizu uspješnosti, učinkovitosti i razvijenosti europske logističke mreže u cjelini. Predloženi novi modeli sjevernojadranskih teretnih morskih luka u središtu srednjoeuropske logističke mreže su rezultanta sveobuhvatnih analiza prije navedenih čimbenika, a ti novi modeli su izrađeni primjerenim vrednovanjem mnogobrojnih elemenata relevantnih za uspješnost logističkolučkog sustava. Novi modeli sjevernojadranskih teretnih morskih luka utemeljeni na parametrima logističkih gravitacijskih zona i na matrici rasta su elaborirani, i iz njih su ekstrahirani elementi koji su poslužili za predlaganje jedinstvenog modela. Za implementaciju novog modela predloženo je više mjera i postupaka, a mogućnost njegove uspješne primjene testirano je SWOT analizom. Iz SWOT analize se mogu isčitati prednosti novog modela sjevernojadranskih teretnih morskih luka u odnosu na postojeći logističkolučki poslovni ustroj koji u praksi pokazuje neučinkovitost i nekonkurentnost u odnosu na sjevernoeuropski.

The North Adriatic cargo seaports of Rijeka, Trieste and Koper lag behind the highly developed North European ports operating as optimized logistics centers of effective logistics network in which these logistics centers are situated. For this reason, the whole logistic-traffic route that relying on business operations of the North Adriatic seaports runs the risk of decline in traffic and accordingly market marginalization. In order to get adequately the answer to the question of how to raise the competitive level of North Adriatic logistics port space, the doctoral dissertation has approached the problem of determination and finding a model that will defined the settings of the new North Adriatic logistics port system in concise and thorough way. The analysis of general port and logistics elements was the prerequisite for a systematic analysis of business operations and level of development of the North Adriatic cargo seaports, their position within the Central European logistics network, as well as for analysis of level of performance, efficiency and development of the European logistics network as a whole. The proposed new models of the North Adriatic cargo seaports in centre of Central European logistics network are the resultant of comprehensive analyses of the aforementioned factors, and these new models are made through an appropriate evaluation of numerous elements relevant to successful of logistics port system. New models of the North Adriatic cargo ports are based on parameters of logistic gravitational zones and elaborated on growth matrix and elements used for proposing of unique model have been extracted therefrom. Several measures and procedures have been proposed for implementation of the new model, and possibility of its successful application has been tested by SWOT analysis. Advantages of the new model of the North Adriatic cargo seaports in relation to existing logistics port business structure can be read out from the SWOT analysis, which in practice shows inefficiency and lack of competitiveness compared to the North European one.
