Abstract
U radu su analizirani razvoj, stanje i perspektive mreže osnovnih škola Hrvatske. Mreža škola definirana je kao skup ustanova koje obavljaju osnovnoškolsku djelatnost na lokalnome i regionalnome području. Osnovna jedinica prostorne analize je upisno područje osnovne škole kojih je izdvojeno 569. Analizom je obuhvaćeno školsko zakonodavstvo i razvoj mreže osnovnih škola od 1874. godine do danas i detaljnije je obrazložen utjecaj pojedinih faktora na razvoj mreže osnovnih škola od šezdesetih godina 20. stoljeća do 2017. godine, posebice utjecaj demografskog razvoja i strukture naseljenosti na razvoj i obilježja mreže osnovnih škola. Prema specifičnim obilježjima izdvojeni su tipovi upisnih područja osnovnih škola i obrazložene su perspektive razvoja mreže osnovnih škola u Hrvatskoj u idućem desetljeću kao i implikacije razvoja mreže osnovnih škola na potrebe za učiteljima geografije i na strukturu njihova obrazovanja.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyses the development, status and perspective of primary schools network development of Croatian, which is defined as a set of primary school institutions that performs primary schooling at the local and regional area. The basic unit of spatial analysis is the enrollment area of the elementary school, of which 569 are separated. The analysis included school legislation and primary schools network development in the period from 1874. till 2017, explained in more details the impact of various factors on the network development from 1960s till today, in particular the impact of demographic development and population structure on the development and characteristics of the primary schools network. According to the specific characteristics, types of enrollment areas of primary schools were selected, explained the perspective of primary schools network development in Croatia in the next decade as well as the implications of the primary schools network development at needs for teachers of geography and the structure of their education.
