Abstract
Osnovni je cilj rada filozofijska interpretacija Platonova Simpozija. Uvodna razmatranja prethodno iznose ranogrčko predstavljanje Erosa, i to ono nefilozofijsko, mita i lirike, kao i ono predplatoničko filozofijsko, Parmenida i Empedokla. Na to se neposredno nadovezuje navlastito Platonovo iskustvo i poimanje Erosa. U Simpoziju prisutan osnovni smisao od kojega polazi ova interpretacija jest unutrašnja povezanost i srodnost moći ljubavi s iskonom, biti i naravi filozofije. Nakana je rada pritom Erosa misliti do kraja, filozofijski, s Platonom iznoseći prvenstveno istinu o njemu. Predloženo tumačenje vidi stari problem uvriježeno shvaćenog platoničkog nauka o dva posve različita svijeta upravo Erosom jednom za svagda razrješenim. Pritom se propituje osobit izraz ne tek Erosove vremenitosti i prolaznosti, već i one svega živog: radikalno uzeta temporalnost, sveopća konačnost i povijesnost, koja se na koncu tiče i same filozofije. Sljedeća se razmatranja utoliko više središte oko erotičkog uspona, koji vazda smjera na ono besmrtno, vječno i najviše. Cilj i svrha tog uspona jest uvid i motrenje čiste ljepote i istinitog bića, ali ujedno i istovremeno srodno rađanje, koje se zbiva svagda u zagonetnom i po svemu ključnom trenutku. Eros je taj demonski čin kojim je u svojoj istini sabrano prisutna cjelina svega što jest. Nakon izvršenoga uspona i dohvaćanja onog istinskog i najvišeg, kroz Alkibijada se na koncu isto povratno ogleda i potvrđuje u njegovu pojavnom svjetlu. Ono "idealno" i "apsolutno" zrcali se tako u onome realnom i konkretnom.
Abstract (english)
The main aim of the paper is a philosophical interpretation of Plato's Symposium. The introduction of the paper previously discloses the early Greek presentation of Eros, from myth and lyric poetry, and of Parmenides and Empedocles. Interpretation seeks to present Plato's experience and notion of Eros, which is obviously connected with the early Greek one. The already existing basic meaning in the Symposium, that makes a starting point of this interpretation, is the inner connection and relatedness of the power of love with the origin, essence and nature of philosophy. The intention of the paper is to think of Eros fully, philosophically, by presenting together with Plato principally the whole truth about him. The suggested comment sees the old problem, habitually understood as Platonic 'two worlds doctrine', once and for all solved exactly by Eros. Next considerations tend to inquire upon the specific utterance of temporality and perishability, not only concerning Eros, but also all things alive and philosophy itself. All the more, the following investigations centering around the erotic ascent, which always strives after immortality and eternity. The goal and purpose of this ascent is a noetic insight into true being, together with related spiritual birth, which happens all at once, suddenly. Eros represents this demonic act which assembles the totality of all in its truth.
