Abstract
Radiative heat transfer plays a significant role in total heat transfer in industrial systems that operate at high temperatures. Therefore, this research aims to develop and implement a new model for calculating the radiative absorption coefficient that considers the radiative spectral properties of the medium. The discrete ordinates model for control volumes will be applied to solve the radiative transfer equation. The proposed model will be validated using analytical results for simple geometries and experimental data from industrial systems. Additionally, an automated procedure will be developed for efficiently calculating laminar flame velocity and the autoignition of an air-fuel mixture using tabulated chemical kinetics. The implemented radiative absorption coefficient model and developed automated procedure will provide more accurate and industrially feasible calculations of multiphase reactive processes.
Abstract (croatian)
Prijenos topline zračenjem ima značajan udio u ukupnom prijenosu topline u industrijskim sustavima koji rade pri visokim temperaturama. Stoga je zadaća ovog rada razvoj i implementacija novog modela za izračun koeficijenta apsorpcije zračenja. Prilikom izračuna koeficijenta apsorpcije zračenja dodatno će se uzeti u obzir spektralna svojstva medija, a za rješavanje jednadžbe prijenosa topline zračenjem primijenit će se model diskretnih ordinata za kontrolne volumene. Validacija modela provest će se na jednostavnim geometrijama za koje postoje analitički rezultati i na industrijskim sustavima s eksperimentalnim podacima. Također će se razviti automatizirani postupak za učinkovit izračun brzine laminarnog plamena i samozapaljenja smjese goriva i zraka primjenom tabelirane kemijske kinetike. Implementirani model koeficijenta apsorpcije zračenja i razvijena automatizirana procedura služit će za točnije i industrijski prihvatljive proračune višefaznih reaktivnih procesa.
