Abstract
Proces harmonizacije korištenja radiofrekvencijskog spektra u svjetskim i europskim telekomunikacijskim tijelima dugotrajan je proces koji je pod pritiskom brzog razvoja novih radijskih tehnologija. Iz tog razloga uveden je koncept fleksibilne i tehnološki neutralne dodjele radiofrekvencijskog spektra. Izazovi takve dodjele leže u određivanju tehničkih ograničenja koje će omogućiti neometan rad svih radijskih sustava, a bez poznavanja za koje radijske sustave će radiofrekvencijski spektar biti namijenjen. U ovom radu govori se o više različitih aspekata fleksibilnosti u gospodarenju radiofrekvencijskim spektrom. Poseban naglasak je dan na tehnološki neutralnu dodjelu 2,6 GHz frekvencijskog pojasa i podjelu pojasa na FDD i TDD blokove. Programskim alatom SEAMCAT određen je izgled frekvencijske maske bloka korisničkih uređaja.
Abstract (english)
A process of harmonization of radio-frequency spectrum in world and European telecommunication bodies is a lengthy process that is under pressure due to rapid development of new radio technologies. For this reason, the concept of flexible and technology neutral spectrum allocation has been introduced. The challenge of this concept lies in determination of technical conditions that will allow interference free operation of different radio systems, without knowing which particular radio systems will be using the frequency band in the end. This paper discusses different aspects of flexibility in spectrum management. Particular emphasis is given to technology-neutral allocation of 2.6 GHz band and its division among FDD and TDD blocks. Software tool SEAMCAT is used for determination of block edge mask of terminal stations.
