Abstract	U ovom radu je objašnjena uloga i značaj antena s rekonfiguracijom ulazne impedancije (tj. radne frekvencije), dijagrama zračenja i polarizacije u modernim komunikacijskim sustavima. S obzirom da su svojstva takvih antena izravno povezana s tehnologijom RF-prekidača, obrađene su značajke PIN-diode, unipolarnog tranzistora i, osobito, RF MEMS uređaja kao RF-prekidača te je dana njihova usporedba. Razvijena je i izrađena jedna rekonfigurabilna antena s promjenjivim dijagramom zračenja koja koristi PIN-diode. Rad antene je pokazan simulacijama i mjerenjima.
Abstract (english)	In this work role and significance of frequency, pattern and polarisation reconfigurable antennas in modern wireless communication systems is examined. Since capabilities and features of these antennas are directly related to current state of RF-switch technology, PIN-diode, unipolar transistor, and especially RF MEMS device as a switch are elaborated. Also, comparison of these three types of switches is made. Pattern reconfigurable antenna employing PIN-diodes is developed using commercial software and fabricated. The performance of the pattern reconfigurable antenna is demonstrated with simulation and measurement results.
