Abstract	Sustavi širokopojasnog bežičnog pristupa u današnje vrijeme postaju sve važniji segment u razvoju širokopojasnog pristupa i informacijskog društva. S obzirom na povećani interes tržišta za uvođenje telekomunikacijskih usluga zasnovanih na podatkovnom prijenosu putem bežičnog radijskog sučelja većim brzinama, sve veći broj zemalja dodjeljuje dozvole operatorima za izgradnju WiMAX sustava za širokopojasni bežični pristup. S komercijalnim uvođenjem usluga i povećanjem broja korisnika, zbog prirodne ograničenosti raspoloživog radio frekvencijskog spektra, pojaviti će se problem koegzistencije sustava i efikasnog korištenja radijskih frekvencija. U ovom radu provedena je analiza koegzistencije sustava širokopojasnog bežičnog pristupa postupkom simuliranih stohastičkih procesa metodom Monte-Carlo. Analiza koegzistencije je napravljena za isto kanalne sustava u susjednom geografskom području i sustave na susjednim kanalima u istom geografskom području. Pri tome, za svaku od osnovnih vrsta scenarija, analizirana su četiri mehanizma nastanka štetne smetnje: između osnovnih postaja sustava, između osnovne postaje i korisničke postaje, između korisničke postaje i osnovne postaje, te između korisničkih postaja sustava. Pri tome su korisničke postaje modelirane kao nepokretne korisničke postaje, ili kao pokretne korisničke postaje. Na osnovu provedene analize mogućnosti koegzistencije sustava širokopojasnog bežičnog pristupa, određeni su uvjeti uz koje širokopojasni bežični sustavi mogu istovremeno raditi uz dozvoljenu razinu štetnih smetnji, te su utvrđeni bitni tehnički zahtjevi koje treba ispuniti pri planiranju i izgradnji mreže, kako bi se omogućilo efikasno dijeljenje frekvencijskih pojaseva. Nadalje, u radu su predložena pravila i preporuke nacionalnom regulatoru, operatorima i proizvođačima telekomunikacijske opreme kojima se omogućava bolja koegzistencija sustava širokopojasnog bežičnog pristupa. Poštovanjem tih kriterija, omogućiti će uvođenje i razvoj sustava širokopojasnog bežičnog pristupa uz racionalnu i ekonomičnu upotrebu radijskih frekvencija, bez neželjenih posljedica koje bi uzrokovale prekid i smanjenu raspoloživost sustava. U radu je prikazan mogući daljnji razvoj tehnologije i standarda sustava širokopojasnog bežičnog sustava kroz uvođenje inovativnih tehnologija poboljšanja antena (inteligentne antene i MIMO sustavi), kao i poboljšanih tehnologija frekvencijskog planiranja (hibridno i dinamičko dodjeljivanje kanala). Vodeći se time obrađena su moguća poboljšanja uvjeta koegzistencije sustava širokopojasnih bežičnih sustava upotrebom tehnoloških unapređenja.
Abstract (english)	Broadband wireless access systems are becoming today more and more important segment in development of broadband access and information society. Taking into account market interest for introduction of telecommunication services based on high speed data transfer using wireless physical layer, more and more countries are introducing telecommunications operators building WiMAX based broadband wireless access networks. With commercial introduction of service, and increase of customer base, problem of broadband wireless access (BWA) systems coexistence and efficient usage of radio frequency will arise due to natural limitations of available radio frequency spectrum. In this work, analysis of coexistence possibilities in broadband wireless access systems is performed using simulation of stochastic processes with Monte-Carlo method. Coexistence analysis is done for co-channel systems in adjacent geographic areas and for adjacent channel systems in same geographic area. For these two basic scenarios, analysis of four mechanism of interference occurrence has been investigated: interference between central stations, interference between central station and terminal station, interference between terminal station and central station and interference between terminal stations. Two variations of terminal stations have been studied: fixed terminal stations and mobile terminal stations. On the basis of analysis of coexistence possibilities in broadband wireless systems, conditions of usage of broadband wireless access systems with allowable interference level and technical requirements for planning and building of wireless network have been determined in order to enable efficient sharing of frequency band. Furthermore, regulations and recommendations for national regulators, operators and equipment manufacturers have been developed in order to enable better coexistence of broadband wireless access systems. Using these criteria, it will be possible to introduce and develop broadband wireless access systems with rational and economic usage of radio frequencies, without reduced reliability of the system. Possible further possible improvements of technology and standardization of BWA systems using antenna system improvements (intelligent antennas and MIMO systems) and technologies of frequency assignment (hybrid and dynamic channel allocation) have been elaborated. In line with that, possible improvements of BWA systems coexistence have been investigated.
