Abstract
Designing, building and commissioning of the laboratory model for the vehicle traction system loads simulation, as well as evaluation of its function, were carried out in this research. In the preparation part of this research, a theoretical analysis of vehicle in motion, considering forces, torques, power and energy of vehicle traction system, was conducted. The theoretical basis for vehicle traction system loads simulation was founded. A laboratory model concept was proposed. Due to time and financial limitations this concept was reduced to the present laboratory model. A simulation of vehicle traction system loads for real vehicle was carried out. All measurements for identification of forces, torques, drive wheel rotation speeds and vehicle velocities of vehicle in motion, for specific regimes and conditions, were conducted. Measurements of torques and drive wheels rotation speeds of the same (chosen) vehicle, under the same conditions as in the simulation, were carried out. All those measurements, conducted on the simulation model and real vehicle, were compared and that comparison showed excellent match. The basic result of this research is "the base vehicle method" with "base mass" and "simulation factor" as key elements. Once established and determined, this method enables simulation of any vehicle type, regardless to its shape and mass. It enables a great flexibility in simulation procedure application for different types of vehicles with different masses. Limitations and possibilities for further research on simulation have been observed.

U okviru ovog rada izvršeno je projektiranje, izvedba, puštanje u pogon i provjera svrsishodnog funkcioniranja laboratorijskog modela za simulaciju opterećenja vučnog sustava vozila. U pripremnom dijelu istraživanja obavljena je teoretska obrada svojstava vozila u gibanju s obzirom na sile, momente, snagu i energiju pri opterećenjima koja se javljaju u vučnom sustavu vozila. Postavljene su teorijske osnove za simulaciju opterećenja. Razrađena su sva pojedinačna opterećenja koja se javljaju na vozilo u gibanju. Predloženo je idejno rješenje simulacijskog modela, koje je, zbog vremenskih i financijskih ograničenja, reducirano na izvedeni laboratorijski model. Izvršena je simulacija opterećenja vučnog sustava izabranog vozila, pri čemu su obavljena sva ona mjerenja koja identificiraju sile, momente, brzine vrtnje i brzine kretanja vozila, pripadne snage i energije vozila u gibanju za karakteristične režime i uvjete rada vozila. Izvedena su mjerenja momenata i brzina vrtnje na pogonskom kotaču istog (izabranog) vozila pri istim režimima rada i uvjetima vožnje kao pri simulaciji. Sva su mjerenja, obavljena tijekom simulacije, uspoređena s mjerenjima obavljenim neposredno na simuliranom vozilu u kretanju; usporedba rezultata stvarnih i simuliranih opterećenja pokazala je izvrsno podudaranje. Temeljni rezultat istraživanja predstavlja "metoda jediničnog vozila" u kojoj ključnu ulogu imaju istraživanjem postavljeni parametri "jedinična masa" i "koeficijent simulacije". Postavljena i potvrđena metoda, pomoću koje se, korištenjem spomenutih parametara, istim simulacijskim modelom može provesti simulacija za bilo koje vozilo, bez obzira na njegov oblik i masu, omogućava veliku fleksibilnost u primjeni simulacijskog postupka na vozila različitih tipova i masa. Uočena su ograničenja i mogućnosti daljnjeg razvoja simulacijskog modela.
