Abstract	Primjena računalnih i komunikacijskih tehnologija u različitim granama zdravstvene skrbi od velikog je značenja i važnosti. Pri projektiranju takovih sustava, kamen temeljac predstavlja implementacija sustava upravljanja elektroničkim arhivama zdravstvenih zapisa pacijenata, koja će zadovoljiti vrlo stroge zahtjeve za funkcionalnošću i visokom kvalitetom usluge. Naročito kritičan čimbenik ovdje predstavlja osiguranje privatnosti i sigurnosti osobnih i zdravstvenih podataka. U radu su istražene komunikacijske arhitekture i razvijen je informacijski sustav za održavanje elektroničkih zdravstvenih zapisa, koji prati svjetski prihvaćene preporuke i standarde, sa posebnim osvrtom na rješenje zaštite privatnosti i sigurnog prijenosa zdravstvenih i osobnih informacija putem Interneta.
Abstract (english)	Implementation of computer based information systems in different fields of medicine represents a very challenging task. The cornerstone of such systems encompasses the electronic heath record management, which meets all the complex demands for functionality and quality of service (QoS). Especially important QoS parameter for hospital information systems includes security, integrity and confidentiality of patients’ medical data. This thesis studies the characteristics of distributed information systems, which satisfies all the requirements and needed functionalities, but also presents the framework for secure and private electronic health record management system, which respects the recommendations of standardization bodies and expands the plethora of possible use of electronic patient record archives.
