Abstract	Rastući zahtjevi za analizom i simulacijom stacionarnih stanja elektroenergetskog sustava nametnuli su potrebu brže i kvalitetnije izrade primjena za potrebe istih. Kao glavni razlog sporosti u razvoju ovakovih primjena je narav elektroenergetskog sustava. Elektroenergetski sustav je prema naravi jako složen i nelinearan sustav. Struktura sustava se može opisati matricama visoke razine. Pri ovome je jako mali broj nenultih elemenata matrica. Svi ovi problemi otežavaju brz i kvalitetan razvoj primjena za analizu stacionarnih stanja elektroenergetskog sustava. Razvoj komponentnih tehnologija te kontinuiran razvoj računalnih tehnologija omogućavaju osmatranje stacionarnih problema elektroenergetskog sustava kao generalizirane nelinearne probleme. Temeljna ideja rada je zasnovana na pretpostavci nastavka tehnološkoj razvoja na dosadašnjoj razini. Rad razjašnjava osnovna načela komponentnog modeliranja na temelju čega se razvija simboličko-komponentna arhitektura. Arhitektura kombinira simboličko izračunavanje s numeričkim izračunavanjem. Pri ovome se simboličko izračunavanje koristi kao potpora iterativnim numeričkim izračunima. Razvijeni simbolički dijelovi arhitekture su uključeni u pojedine komponente temeljene na rješavanju odredenih problema elektroenergetskog sustava. Simboličke komponente osiguravaju korektno i brzo pronalaženje potrebnih derivacijskih informacija i njihovo "smještanje" u strukture slabo popunjenih matrica. Na ovaj način se programer oslobađa od mukotrpnog i pogreškama podložnog procesa unosa derivacijskih informacija i popunjavanje strukture matrica. Ovako razvijene komponenente omogućavaju iskorištavanje koda na binarnoj razini. Osim olakšavanja korisniku unosa i rješavanja problema, razvijena komponentno temeljena arhitektura omogućava jedinstven način pohranjivanja informacija o modeliranim sustavima. Informacijski sustav modela elektroenergetskog sustava odnosno njegovih problema, je temeljen na podatkovnoj bazi modela. Podatkovna baza modela pohranjuje modele sustava na jednom mjestu, čime je olakšan unos i ispravka podataka modela. Razvijene komponente mogu uzimati modele izravno iz podatkovne baze. Ovim je omogućeno promjena vladanja primjena razvijenih na komponentno temeljenoj arhitekturi bez potrebe rekompajliranja. Potrebno je jedino provesti ponovnu inicijalizaciju komponenti, odnosno ponovno učitavanje informacija o modelu sustava.
Abstract (english)	Growing demands for power system steady state analysis and simulation have imposed the need for faster and more qualitative power system applications development. Large and complicated power systems with nonlinear characteristics are the main reasons for slowness in the process of applications development. In order to handle the large but sparse structure of the power system, a sparse matrix technique has to be used. The problems mentioned make the process of power system steady state applications development more difficult and error prone. Recent component technology enhancement and continuous computer technology achievements enable the consideration of the power system steady state problems as general nonlinear problems. The main idea of this paper is based on the following assumption: the technological development will grow at a stedy rate as rate as it has done up to now. This thesis explains the basic principles of component modeling. Based on these principles the novel symbolical-component architecture is developed. The architecture combines symbolic and numeric computation. Symbolic computation is used to assist the process of iterative numeric computation. Developed symbolic parts are included in the power system solver components. Differentiation information, used in iterative numerical algorithms, is efficiently and precisely computed by symbolic components. Furthermore, these components finalize the process of sparse matrix creation. Thus, the developer does not need to be included in the error prone process of manual creation of derivative information and its placement in sparse structures. Furthermore, developed components manage code reusability on the binary level. The architecture enables not only easier problem (model) editing and solving but also a unique way of storing models data. The power system model information system is based on the system model database. The model database keeps all created models in one place, thus making the process of model entering and editing easier. Models stored in the database can be read by developed components. This enables applications, based on this architecture, to change their behavior without recompilation. There is only the need to reinitialize components, or to reload used models.
