Abstract	Rad opisuje način povezivanja privatnih računalnih mreža u raspodijeljene sustave temeljene na arhitekturi CORBA. Objašnjene su tehnologije raspodijeljenih sustava s posebnim osvrtom na arhitekturu CORBA, na kojoj je temeljen i za koju je izgrađen prijedlog rješenja komuniakcije između privatnih mreža. Prikazani su temeljni principi komunikacije između CORBA objekata, opisane su CORBA poruke i svi podržani tipovi podataka. Analizirani su problemi nastali uporabom tehnologije vatrozida i njihov utjecaj na objektno orijentirane raspodijeljene sustave temeljene na arhitekturi CORBA. Izloženi su koncepti rada i ukratko su analizirani postojeće tehnologije uporabe vatrozida. Detaljno su obrađeni problemi povezivanja objekata između privatnih mreža. Predložen je model realizacije uporabom norme XML. Razrađen je opisni jezik XIPAL, temeljen na normi XML, za opis svih CORBA poruka i tipova podataka potrebnih za učinkovito povezivanje CORBA objekata. Kao rezultat i potvrda ideje premošćivanja vatrozida razvijen je sustav TWUX. Istaknuti su njegovi prednosti i nedostaci. Detaljno su objašnjeni koncepti funkcioniranja predloženog sustava, njegova implementacija i postupci potrebni prilikom njegovog pokretanja.
Abstract (english)	In this thesis interconnection of private networks into distributed systems based on the CORBA architecture is described. Distributed system technologies have been explained, primarily focusing on CORBA, as a bases of the proposed solution. Base communication principles between CORBA objects are shown, CORBA message and all supported data types are described. Problems related with use of firewall technology and their influence on the object oriented distributed systems based on CORBA are analyzed. Basic firewall concepts are given and existing firewall systems are briefly analyzed. Problems related to object interconnection between private computer networks are discussed in details. Model based on XML has been suggested. Description language XIPAL is specified to arhieve full description of all CORBA messages and data types used in inter-object communication. TWUX system has been developed as result and proof of functionality concept. Its advantages and disadvantages have been pointed out. System functionality concept, implementation and necessery procedures used to initialize system have also been described in detailes.
