Abstract
Ovaj rad opisuje izgradnju i uvođenje nove usluge u postojeću telekomunikacijsku mrežu uvodenjem mrežne strukture osjetljive na sadržaj informacijskog toka. Prema ovdje izloženom konceptu, proširenje mogucnosti AXE10 jednoprocesorskog sustava za procesiranje poziva, kao i uvođenje nove usluge izvodi se izvlačenjem djela postojeće funkcionalnosti na tzv. “vanjsku platformu” koja se u radu naziva Otvorena Mrežna Platforma. U prvom dijelu rada detaljno su obrađeni klijent server modeli, distribuirani sustavi, klijent server komunikacija i kvaliteta usluge (QoS) s naglaskom na one modele i njihova svojstva koji ce biti uporabljeni pri implementaciji vanjske platforme. U drugom dijelu rada iznesen je informacijski model Otvorene Mrežne Platforme, objašnjeni tokovi podataka, detaljno obrađen cijeli proces uvođenja nove usluge, njezina arhitektura i utjecaj na performanse cjelokupnog sustava. U zadnjem dijelu dani su rezultati simulacije rada na programskom simulatoru na računalu, kao i stvarna mjerenja performansi sustava u potpunosti implementiranog i testiranog u poduzeću “Ericsson Nikola Tesla” u Zagrebu.
Abstract (english)
The main goal of this thesis was to describe service engineering and introducing of new functionality into the existing telecommunication network by introducing new network structure that is information or traffic sensitive. According to concept described here extension of existing processing capabilities of single processor control system AXE10, as well as introducing of new services, is achieved by moving part of call processing and functionality on additional external platform. In the first part of the thesis client-server models, distributed systems, client-server communication and quality of service were thoroughly described, with emphasis on those models, which were used in implementation of external platform. In the second part, information model of the Open Telecommunication Network Platform was given. Data flows, as well as whole process of introducing of new service, its architecture and impact on performance of the whole system, were described in detail. In the last part results of simulation on software simulator were given, as well as real performance measurements of the system implemented and tested in “Ericsson Nikola Tesla” in Zagreb.
