Abstract
Doktorskim radom pružio se doprinos boljem poznavanju prirode i načina prijenosa domicilno iniciranih monetarnih mjera globalno utjecajnih središnjih banaka na druge zemlje u svijetu. Doktorski rad temelji se na istraživačkim pitanjima, poput, utječu li i koliko nekonvencionalne mjere monetarne politike na ostale zemlje, koji od čimbenika determiniraju učinke prelijevanja tih mjera na povezane zemlje, koje rizike generiraju učinci prelijevanja za povezane zemlje, koje prakse i mehanizmi su na raspolaganju nositeljima monetarne i fiskalne vlasti u povezanim zemljama? U radu se izlažu mjere nekonvencionalne monetarne politike 4 globalno utjecajne središnje banke i izdvajaju učinci prelijevanja tih mjera na druge zemlje u svijetu. Empirijskim istraživanjem, baziranom na Bayesovom SVAR modelu, osigurava se strukturna identifikacija mjera nekonvencionalne monetarne politike preko restrikcija nula i na predznak. Na osnovi rezultata ekonometrijskog modeliranja na globalnom uzorku zemalja i makroekonomske analize pruža se sinteza zaključaka o čimbenicima koji uvjetuju na koji način će se mjere nekonvencionalne monetarne politike neke globalno utjecajne središnje banke odraziti na druge zemlje u svijetu. Doktorski rad pruža sistematizaciju najznačajnijih rizika provođenja nekonvencionalnih mjera monetarne politike globalno utjecajnih središnjih banaka za druge zemlje u svijetu. Također, osiguravaju se znanstvene informacije po pitanju postojanja razlika međunarodnih učinaka prelijevanja nekonvencionalnih u odnosu na konvencionalne mjere monetarne politike.
Abstract (english)
Doctoral dissertation contribute to a better understanding of the nature and ways of transferring domestically initiated monetary measures of globally influential central banks to other countries in the world. Doctoral dissertation is based on research issues, such as whether and how many unconventional measures of monetary policy affect other countries, which factors determine the effects of spillover of these measures to related countries, the risks for related countries, the mechanisms useful for the monetary and fiscal authorities in the related countries? Empirical research, based on the Bayes SVAR model, provides structural identification of measures of unconventional monetary policy through zero and sign restrictions. Based on the results of econometric modelling on a global sample of countries and macroeconomic analysis, it provides a synthesis of conclusions on factors that determine how unconventional monetary policies of some globally influential central banks will affect other countries in the world. Doctoral thesis provides systematization of the most significant risks of implementing unconventional monetary policy measures of globally influential central banks for other countries in the world. It also provides scientific information on issues of the existence of differences in the international spillover effects of unconventional in relation to conventional monetary policy measures.
